Driven Woman is a network for women with ideas and ambition who want to achieve their goals

Start living the life you want, today.

Dreams don’t come true because it’s difficult to stick to our own plans.

DrivenWoman is a network for women in London. We help our members to define their own success, become accountable to their goals and make dreams happen. We get together once a month to create positive habits and put plans into action, one small step at a time.

What is DrivenWoman

Our Story

DrivenWoman was founded by Miisa Mink, and Jennifer Stoute in 2013, a result of a fundamental ‘aha’ moment whilst brainstorming for a new business venture. Rather than rushing forward with their new concept, they decided to stop and discover what they were really passionate about. Great believers in the abilities of all women and the power of determination, DrivenWoman was born.

The girls saw there was a need for a new kind of network for women that would not only inspire but would become a real movement of proactivity for women. Their idea was to celebrate every woman who decides to chase her dreams and create a life she really wants, regardless of her circumstances. Success means so much more than just career advancement or a big pay check. Their idea was to create a club where women could explore their true potential with the support of others and create their own kind of success.

The first DrivenWoman event took place in May 2013 in Central London and many successful events and groups have followed since. The feedback has been extremely welcoming and it was clear from the start there was a real need for a forum like this. Everything DrivenWoman does aims to facilitate a real change and tangible benefits that lead to action. We believe we are what we do, not what we say we do. With the support of DrivenWoman, our members have started moving towards a more fulfilling and exciting life. Read their stories here.

You can do it too!

Our Team

The groups are lead by Group Leaders, women who come from within the DrivenWoman membership. These women have used our ‘LifeWorking’ method to rise to the next level and now are ready to grow even further and help others to embrace working towards their goals.

However, a Group Leader’s role is not to give you all the answers. At DrivenWoman you can explore what you want, what is difficult for you and find your own answers in an open and safe environment. The other members are your coaches! The Group Leaders are there to inspire and keep you accountable to your goals and action points.

Find out more about our Group Leaders here.

We’ve created DrivenWoman ‘LifeWorking™’ groups for women to come together once a month to inspire and motivate each other on their individual journeys. This is our ‘method’. It’s not scientific. It’s actually pretty simple. And that’s why it works!

DrivenWoman is about acknowledging that achieving what we want can seem like a daunting, almost impossible task. Often our dreams seem so far away that we don’t think they are even worth pursuing. We feel stuck in our current position or our obstacles seem so huge that we become dwarfed by them. Women often have a habit of believing that if we don’t have all the resources and the perfect environment, it’s not even worth trying. Or we simply don’t know what we want so we stop searching altogether. But if we stay stuck we are missing our golden opportunities.

By taking active steps and moving forwards we can achieve what we want, no matter how poor our starting point is. It’s about being ready to accept that we have to step outside of our comfort zone and that can be painful. Together we can help each other to overcome it. Instead of feeling isolated and frustrated we keep moving forward, encouraging each other, and slowly, step-by-step, our life starts to turn around. It’s a journey and we have decided to enjoy it to the full!

Do you want to get involved with DrivenWoman? Your first step is to book your place in one of the Introduction evenings. We currently have DrivenWoman groups in the following locations: London Soho, London Shoreditch, Guildford (Surrey), Helsinki (Finland), Singapore, Auckland (New Zealand). Planned locations include Paris (France), and more locations will be added during the autumn so stay tuned!

At the Introduction evening you will get to know the method of LifeWorking, create your first 'life plan' and meet other potential new Driven Woman members. You can then join as a member and start coming to the monthly LifeWorking groups.

Creating your own success story also means learning new things. We tackle obstacles and knowledge gaps with the help of DrivenWoman Workshops. We invite experts to share their knowledge and inspire us to grow.

As part of our global campaign to provide the right environment to empower women, we are organising DrivenWoman’s inaugural conference, the Festival of Doers. The festival will be held in London in 27. January 2017 to empower women to help create their own success.

One big difference to other networks is that at DrivenWoman we don’t aim to give you all the answers, instead, we help you to ask better questions and find your own truth. Anyone can tell you how to be successful (and there are lots of people who will), but it is only by taking what is relevant to you and putting it into practice in your own way that the piece of advice becomes useful. Therefore all our events are truly thought provoking. You’ll always discover what is right for you and then put your learning into practice.
